Sharpening Exacto Knife Blades
How old do you have to be to buy razorblades in New York?
Please, no lectures. I do cut. I have used a bunch of different things, exacto knifes, boxcutters, broken glass, kitchen knives ect. but about a month ago I found a brand new 10 pack of razors blades in my dad's garage, and they cut beautifully, unlike any other blade. Due to corrosion, all of the blades have become dull and some won't even break the skin anymore.
I would like to purchase more from the drugstore. How old do I have to be? Also, if the clerk sees my scars, does he have the right to refuse to sell me the blades? Or is it none of his business?
Also, if anyone knows how to sharpen blades, that'd be appreciated too.
P.S. I'm not "emo"
I don't think cutting is cool or hardcore, I'm very ashamed of it. I actually look like a normal preppy teenage girl. I hide my cuts, I don't flaunt them. I'm not proud of cutting, so don't make me out to be some kind of attention whore, I'm really not.

Why would you use words like 'they cut beautifully'? Or give us all the details?
Because you want to show us just how serious you are, how hardcore your cutting is.
Maybe you aren't emo-wait, yes you are.
Perhaps you aren't open about your cutting in real life, but you are online. You don't seem ashamed--you're continuing the cycle and asking for our help doing it.
If you were really ashamed of it, you would be getting help. Not trying to get our sympathy.
Go to some emo website, I am sure they will have better answers.
Also, by asking this in the 'mental health' section and mentioning cutting, you are clearly looking for some help...or attention.
And just to answer your question, if you are old enough to go to the drugstore by yourself, you can buy razor blades.
