What is it about vacation that makes everyone so envious? Aside from the time off of course. It could be the heat, it could be the company, it could be the destination, or it could be it all. Sunny vacations are surprisingly easy to forget when you're sitting in your office in the middle of July staring out at the rain that doesn't seem to ever stop. This is obviously a good thing seeing as if you could remember you'd probably fall into a quick depression. It's when you step off the airplane in the middle of the night and it's thirty degrees Celsius outside, there are palm trees all around, and the air is so thick you could cut it with a knife that you remember that feeling. It's when you open up the door to your apartment or hotel room and remember that you can keep your sliding doors open through the clock because it is just that nice out. It's the sand that you can kick around your terracotta floors, the cool stone walls of your room, that one shaded area outside your room where you can lie around reading your book. Suddenly all of those amazing feelings associated with sunny vacations come over you and you can't ever imagine coming back to work.
